Why Buy at Laguna Bay Residences
A beachfront address with three separate facility levels. The pool deck sits on Level 10, the gym and playground on Level 11, and a yoga and viewing deck on Level 23A. Spreading them over three levels rather than one podium is why the deck does not feel crowded at weekends.
Every one of the 342 homes is a 900 sq ft three-bedroom. Two types, same size, same room count — the difference is the stack. There is no studio and no compact one-bedroom in the tower, so the building holds one kind of household rather than four.
376 bays for 342 homes, including 34 for visitors. One allocated bay per unit plus genuine visitor parking, over a nine-level podium. On a coastal address with no rail, visitor parking that actually exists is worth more than it sounds. Ceilings run 10 ft floor to floor.
Why Laguna Bay Residences May Not Suit You
One bay per unit, on an address where you will drive everywhere. Teluk Kumbar has no rail and the amenities are spread along the coast road. A two-car household gets one allocated bay and competes for the rest. Confirm in writing whether a second bay can be bought.
Security is a single tier — a guard house. No lift-lobby or floor-level access control is published. For a 31-storey tower with 342 homes that is the thinnest tier count in this comparison set, and it is the kind of thing management can improve but construction cannot.
The completion date has already moved once. The brochure’s legal strip still reads Q3 2026 while the developer’s summary of August 2026 says Q1 2027. We have used the later figure. Get the date written into your own SPA rather than trusting either document.

Laguna Bay Residences in Teluk Kumbar, Penang suits most buyers best as a Type A: the same 900 sq ft, three bedrooms and two bathrooms as Type B, but on the wider 9,450 mm plan, and 13 of the 18 units on every floor are Type A, so it offers the most positions to choose from.

- Type A's front wall is 9,450 mm, 400 mm wider than Type B's, with windows for the living room, bedroom 2 and master. As in Type B, the master is en-suite and bedrooms 2 and 3 share Bath 2.
