Why Altus Residency May Not Suit You
Perai is an industrial and commercial belt. Jalan Baru at 100 m gives you the convenience, and it also gives you the traffic. If you want a quiet, purely residential enclave, this address is not it — visit at peak hour before deciding.
Both rail stations are proposals. The monorail at Pauh Jaya (200 m) and the LRT at Taman Supreme (2.0 km) are proposed, not funded and built. Treat them as possible upside; the transport that actually exists today is KTM Bukit Tengah at 4.1 km and Penang Sentral at 5.0 km.
The facilities deck is one level. Level 5 carries the pool, gym, games room and hall, with the rest at ground level. It is a sensible list for 148 families, but it is not the multi-deck resort programme that larger projects use to compete.
The units you might actually want are the scarce ones. Six duplexes and four private garden homes out of 148. If your requirement is specifically a duplex or a garden unit, the pool of choices is very small and it does not grow.
Completion is September 2028. That is a wait of roughly two years from now, with progressive payments running through it. If you need a home to move into sooner, look at completed stock instead.
