Quick answer: The Penang developers with the most new launches on mydreamprop.com right now are WHH Land (6), Aspen Group and Paramount Property (4 each), and GSD Land, S P Setia, Jayamas and EXSIM (3 each). This guide covers 12 developers and their current Penang launches, from Batu Kawan to George Town.
Penang property developers are building on both sides of the channel, and the 12 in this guide reflect that split. On the mainland, Batu Kawan and Bukit Mertajam hold the largest share of our listings, with more around Butterworth, Kepala Batas and Simpang Ampat. This is where most of the landed homes are.
On the island the launches are mostly towers, from George Town and Gelugor to Tanjung Bungah on the north coast and Bayan Lepas and Teluk Kumbar in the south.
How this list was put together
This guide is based on what we list. We counted the current new launches in Penang on mydreamprop.com by developer, took the seven developers with three or more projects, and added five whose launches widen the range of homes and locations covered. It is not a ranking of quality: the order reflects only how many Penang projects each developer has on our site today. Background details come from the developers’ own brochures and sales material.

Choosing between developers
The right developer usually depends on how you live. A few practical steps help narrow it down.
- Match the location to your commute. Batu Kawan and Simpang Ampat are on the southern mainland, Bukit Mertajam and Butterworth sit in Seberang Perai, and Bayan Lepas, Teluk Kumbar and Gelugor keep the island’s industrial zone and George Town close.
- Choose landed or high-rise early. Most mainland developers here offer terraces, superlinks or semi-detached homes, while most island launches are towers with shared facilities.
- See completed work. Muze at PICC, Triuni Residences and Amansara North are finished, so you can walk through what a developer has delivered.
- Visit the sales gallery. Ask for the mock-up unit or scale model and the floor plan of your exact unit.
- Read the statutory panel on the brochure. It shows the developer’s licence number, the advertising and sales permit with its validity dates, and the building plan approval.
